Newark Emmaus Trust
We’re thrilled to have been able to help local charity the Newark Emmaus Trust with a WordPress website redesign.
Local designer and lecturer Tim Fabian carried out a fantastic rebrand for the Newark Emmaus Trust and provided comprehensive brand guidelines to help us create a fresh website design that matched all their new signage and materials.
The design is clear and focused on the user’s requirements, as well as a prominent donate button. The Responsive design works across desktop and mobile devices as well to reach users no matter what device they are using to access the site.
We also recommended a local photographer who visited the Trust for a day to shoot the offices and living spaces.
Once the designs were complete, we turned them into a fast loading WordPress theme. Our flexible content template allows Newark Emmaus Trust to build up pages using various panels like galleries, FAQs and large image areas. This moves away from big blocks of text and makes the content easier to read.
Search Engine Setup
As part of our standard process we setup Google Analytics and Search Console to help the charity keep an eye on visitor numbers and behaviour. This is available in an easy to read dashboard inside WordPress, which makes visitor analysis quicker and easier than logging in to a Google account.
To help Newark Emmaus Trust get up to speed we ran a group training session in their training centre and also provided a written manual covering the basic tasks they are likely to need to carry out.
To keep the site safe from hackers we have installed a firewall and also keep WordPress up to date for the Trust.
