Responsive WordPress website for Southwell based BeeClear

We launched a new Responsive WordPress website for Southwell based BeeClear home improvements this week. The easy to use WordPress system replaced an ageing ASP site that was preventing their SEO company improving the site’s performance.

Web Design

Part of the brief was ‘no straight lines’ and that led to some interesting challenges getting curved parts of the site working, especially when it needed to work on tablets and smartphones too! Interactive elements like the slight zoom on the homepage buttons and live form validation were added to make the site more engaging.

Website Build

A lightweight WordPress theme was developed to add the custom design to the site and keep things as fast as possible. While many people use Twitter Bootstrap as a base, we reckon that’s a bit over the top for a small business site and adds too many files.

A selection of security tweaks help keep the new site safe from hackers and automated exploits, and a range of trusted plugins  make optimising content easier for search and allow us to build the custom forms.

Online Marketing

We worked with BeeClear’s suppliers to provide new content for the site and BeeClear’s SEO company.¬† This helped ensure the Adwords campaigns were not interrupted and the site was structured and set up up to help them improve search performance for the business.

BeeClear will be using Hootsuite to manage their social media accounts, saving time by posting to multiple networks and scheduling their posts instead of having to log in to each network individually.

We helped BeeClear with a good looking, fast loading new WordPress website to enhance their online presence and help improve their online marketing potential.
