EcoNotts: Free eco directory for Nottinghamshire organisations
We’ve just launched a free directory of sustainability minded organisations in the Nottinghamshire area.
Corporations and fossil fuel companies own our governments, and they are not coming to help us. It’s up to us to organise locally, help each other out and reduce our impact.
EcoNotts aims to be a free directory of sustainability minded organisations in the Nottinghamshire area – food, transport, housing, energy, activism and whatever else you’re up to that helps the planet! This aims to link them all up and make new connections; add your organisation for free on the site.

Website setup
On a technical note, the site runs on WordPress for now while we see if there’s a demand. If EcoNotts takes off we may move to Expression Engine in the future as it’s faster and needs less maintenance. A custom post type with some custom fields handles the eco directory, and the Events Calendar plugin runs the er, events calendar.
