Web design portfolio from Nottingham website designers FCS websites.
Knightkit.co.uk specialise in duty and safety equipment for police, fire, security and traffic management services. This new Zencart ecommerce site replaced their previous static website and features rotating homepage banners controlled through the admin system, dynamic image resizing and Paypal integration.
As with all our ecommerce sites, Knightkit is hosted on our green web hosting which works great with the Zencart system.
After a few weeks of hectic design and programming, we launched theproteinshop.co.uk for a Nottingham based gym. The guys are expert bodybuilders and have recently branched out into selling protein and other supplements online. We did them a graphic design and logo, put them a Zencart shop together and entered all their products for them as a package deal.
We will be providing them with print materials and search engine optimisation now the site is live (after working on this site, we are now obsessed with our protein intake…).

Easy Furniture had an OSCommerce shop that needed updating, so we transferred all their products over to Zencart saving them from re-entering 500 items!
We made them a fresh new design and integrated a number of additional features to Zencart to make the customer experience more pleasant and administration easier.
The shop was also transferred to our green web hosting, and Easy Furniture switched from old to new shops with minimum downtime!
We are proud to be involved in the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge, an outdoor event in the Lake District that raised around quarter of a million pounds for a number of charities last time it was run! Their new site is content managed, meaning the Challenge team can update the site with news and team information. An RSS feed keeps people up to date, and an easy to use gallery system enables them to upload challenge pictures.
It’s been great working on a non-profit site. Best of luck to all the challenge teams!
Nottingham Vauxhall specialists Vauxmoore needed a snappy, bright and modern site to promote their independent servicing, repair and MOT business.
The site makes use of internal tabs that instantly display content and a secured contact form that helps prevent spam.
Wilson Field Marketing are a Nottingham company who specialise in reclaiming Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) premiums for mis-sold PPI policies. They also help claim for injuries that were the result of accidents.
We got their new website up and running within a week, and also provided print design services for PPI flyers & posters.
Lincoln Student Accomodation landlords Charlestown Properties approached us to redevelop their existing website. We developed them a content management system from scratch to suit their needs as a student accommodation landlord. Charlestown update the site themselves with details of their student properties in Lincoln, and keep students up to date with property availability.
Their new site is search engine friendly by design, and we are working with them on a search engine optimisation and internet marketing strategy.
Clive at Custom Solutions is a busy man, so keeping his site up to date with the latest products and pictures is made quick and easy with a customised content management system.
Clive logs in and edits all his site content without having to worry about the HTML code behind it. Uploaded images are resized automatically, saving him time when he updates his products.
Randomly appearing featured products, clean design and attractive, expanding product images all contribute to a slick site that is sure to improve his online sales.
Lincoln artist Cathy Servonat needed a site creating for her London exhibition “Rhyme and Reason”. We met Cathy and worked out what she liked and disliked about websites, and how she wanted to present her artwork.
This site was turned round in around a week, including sorting out the domain names, hosting and coding the site.
This was a classic case of a “mate of a mate thinks they can make websites” Jay at the Nottingham based garden building business already had his domains and hosting sorted, and someone had offered to make him a site. They had uploaded the free content management system “Joomla”, and had either lost interest or got out of their depth… so FCS created UKs No1 Summerhouses a new standards compliant, fast loading website.
We scanned in and processed all their product images and quickly got the site online. The new site is doing brisk trade in sheds, summerhouses and kid’s playhouses, with many customers commenting on how professional the site looks.
